Where is my nearest Depository Library?

Mahoning County has two depository libraries located across the street from each other on Wick Avenue. Each library serves the public in different ways.

Highlights of both collections, along with hours and borrowing privileges, are outlined below.

Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County

Location	305 Wick Avenue at the corner of Wick and Rayen Avenues.
Parking	Free parking is available for library users in the lot adjacent to the library. Enter the parking lot from Wick Avenue.
Collection Highlights	Materials are selected which support the needs of the community in accordance with the Library's Mission Statement and Long Range Plan. The Library's collection is strong in business, health, consumer materials, census, human services, labor, and law.
Using the Library	Library buildings and collections housed therein are open for use by the general public. See Locations & Hours on the Library's web page for more detailed information. Library cards are required to borrow circulating material. Cards are free of charge to Ohio residents. Reference materials do not circulate and must be used in the library. Depository Status	Designated a depository library in 1923. Selects about 28% of the publications available from the Federal Government.
Handicap Accessibility	Fully accessible. Parking lot is adjacent to building.

Maag Library (Youngstown State University)

Location	410 Wick Avenue (next to Butler Art Museum).
Parking	Public parking is available in the Wick Avenue parking deck. Some metered parking is available on Lincoln Avenue.
Collection Highlights	Materials are selected which support the needs of both the University and the community. Maag's collection is strong in health, census, business, justice, Congressional Hearings and Reports, and Interior Department publications.
Using the Library	Maag Library is open for use by the general public. Borrowing materials, however, is restricted to current faculty, staff, and students. For more detailed information, see Maag's circulation policy.
Depository Status	Designated a depository library in 1973. Selects about 48% of the publications available from the Federal Government.
Handicap Accessibility	Fully accessible.
