OhioLink Databases

OhioLink Database

OhioLINK offers more than 100 electronic research databases, including a variety of full-text resources. These databases cover many academic areas at varying levels of detail. Many of the databases are citation indexes. Generally, the user can find out which OhioLINK members possess copies of the cited journal or link to the relevant full-text article. OhioLINK’s electronic full-text resources include online dictionaries, literature, and journal articles. Access to the research databases is restricted to valid patrons at OhioLINK member institutions.

Jstor JSTOR is an electronic journal archive that provides complete back issues of journals (from volume 1 No.1 to within 3-5 years of current issues) with full-text articles. YSU Maag Library subscribes to two of the Arts and Sciences collections, currently about 240 journal titles in key fields of the Arts & Sciences.

CollegeSource Online

A virtual library representing 28,702 college catalogs in full cover-to-cover, original page format with 2-year, 4-year, graduate, professional and international schools.

Criminal Justice Abstracts

Provides comprehensive coverage of the major journals in criminology and related disciplines, extensive coverage of books, and unparalleled access to reports from government and nongovernmental agencies. For each document, an informative summary of the findings, methodology, and conclusions is provided. Topics include crime trends, prevention projects, corrections, juvenile delinquency, police, courts, offenders, victims, and sentencing.

New Grove's Dictionary of Music and Musicians

Grove Music Online comprises the full text of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians

Science's Next Wave

Science's Next Wave is a weekly online publication that covers scientific training, career development, and the science job market. The Next Wave is published by SCIENCE magazine and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Social Sciences Index

Social Sciences Index is a bibliographic database that indexes articles of at least one column in length from English-language periodicals published in the United States and elsewhere. Coverage includes a wide range of interdisciplinary fields covered in a broad array of social sciences journals.

State Academies of Science Abstracts(SASA)

State Academies of Science Abstracts is an authoritative reference on studies specific to states and regions of the U.S. It is the foremost source of records on new species, range extensions, and threatened and endangered species.

EconLit (EBSCO)

Index to articles on economic issues.

Environmental Issues & Policy Index(EBSCO)

Provides citations from journals in a number of environmental subject areas such as Social, Political, and Philosophical issues; Air; Energy.
