Gifts of books and other appropriate items which help build the library's collection are always welcome. Gifts will be accepted with the understanding that they will be handled in a manner that will best benefit the Maag Library.

The donor will be responsible for obtaining any appraisals for tax purposes. The cost of such appraisal shall not be borne by Maag Library. The Library cannot appraise gifts nor provide an endorsement to someone else's appraisal. Any arrangements to compensate an appraiser with books or payment in kind will be made and completed before the Library receives the gift(s). Donors must complete a Certificate of Gift Form for items to be accepted. Once received, items become the property of the Maag Library.
