YSU in 1916
 

W.H. Rowland resigned as Youngstown YMCA Educational Secretary, due to his support of “foreign schools” i.e. classes for immigrants. He was replaced by Carter B. Robinson, who resigned six months later to take another position and was succeeded by Glenn Porter, the Assistant Secretary. Meanwhile, the “Youngstown Association “became incorporated under Ohio Law and summer school expanded to include night classes.
