YSU in 1997

| As in previous years, prestigious honors were bestowed upon members of the YSU faculty. English Professor Dr. Virginia Monseau was chosen to edit the scholarly publication, English Journal, and Professor Emeritus Larry E. Esterly was named to the YSU Board of Trustees. Athletic glory was also achieved on the gridiron, as the Penguins won their fourth Division 1-AA football championship title. |
