Research Databases

African-American Poetry DatabaseContains the full text of almost 3,000 poems written between 1760 and 1900.

Arts & Humanities Citation Index.  A multidisciplinary database covering the journal literature of the arts and humanities.

Newsbank Newsfile Collection  (1991 to current). Selected full-text articles of interest on current issues and events as well as the arts, people and professions.  Articles are selected from over 500 U.S. and Canadian newspapers as well as from newswire services. Sources include the Tribune Chronicle (Warren) and the Youngstown/Warren Business Journal.

PAIS Database.  Covers public and social policy emphasizing factual and statistical information (1972-present; updated monthly).

Periodical Abstracts. Covers general interest articles with some scholarly publications also.

SIRS Researcher. This is a full text database covering ethnic groups, women, human rights and youth.

Social Sciences Citation Index. It is a multidisiplinary database, with searchable author abstracts, covering the journal literature of the social sciences.
