Finding Books in Maag Library
 

To find books, government documents and other materials (not journal articles) owned by Maag Library for Economics, search MaagNet, the library's online public access catalog (OPAC). MaagNet is searchable by subject, keyword, author or title. If you have difficulty locating the correct subject heading, it may help to consult the Library of Congress Subject Headings, a set of large red books located behind the Reference Desk in the Reference Room. You may also search the OhioLINK Central Catalog for materials owned by other libraries in OhioLINK.

The New Palgrave:  A Dictionary of Economics. A four-volume set which contains nearly 2000 entries,  fully cross-referenced.  Provides definitions and bibliographic references covering all aspects of economics.

Dictionary of Economics. Considered a "dictionary for economists."  Provides succinct definitions in various areas of economics.  Also includes three-digit codes indicating the branch of economics in which the term falls under as classified by the Economic Journal.

The HarperCollins Dictionary of Economics. All major topics of economics are covered in 1700 definitions and 200 diagrams, charts and tables.  Includes biographies of important economists.
