Various indexes or publications are available in electronic format. Check with a Reference Librarian to find the most current databases, search strategy, and means of access.

Arts & Humanities Citation Index.  A multidisiplinary database covering the journal literature of the arts and humanities.

PAIS Database. Covers public and social policy, emphasizing factual databases and statistical information (1972-present; updated monthly)

Periodical Abstracts. This database covers general interest articles with some scholarly publications also.

SIRS. Covers many aspects of historical studies with full text articles.

Social Sciences Citation Index.  A multidisiplinary database, with searchable author abstracts, covering the journal literature of the sciences.
