PRINT THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PROCEEDING

1. Download schlr2006.exe and SAVE into a temporary direcotry



2. Run schlr2006.exe to extract the files into the c:\Sfschlr folder (This is the default)



3. Run SFS2006.exe



4. You will be prompted: "Do you have a disk labeled Custom File?", click the NO button.



5. The site Custom File was upzipped into the C:\sfschlr folder back in the first step.



6. You will be later prompted: "Do you want to install SciFinder Scholar Toolbar now?" Please install this at your discretion. This installs it to the Internet Explorer Toolbar.



7. After installing, you may launch the program:
   • Click the Start/Programs/SciFinder Scholar 2006/SciFinder Scholar
   • You are now ready to search Chemical Abstracts
