About Maag Library
The Maag Library of Youngstown State University is a member of OCLC, OhioLINK, and other consortia. The Library provides patrons with services such as reference, Government Documents, and interlibrary loan.The six-story library provides instructional and research materials in an expanding array of formats: print, microform, electronic and multi-media. 
Collections and services
Periodicals, microforms, and self-serve copy machines are located on the Lower Floor. 
Library offices, reference, interlibrary loan, and circulation are on the Main Floor.
An instruction room and a computer lab (access restricted to YSU students, faculty and staff) are available on Floor 4. 
Floor 5 houses the Multimedia Center and the Special Collections Room. In the Multi-media Center patrons can listen to music, view videos and use CD-ROM applications. Patrons have access to materials in the Special Collections Room by requesting them at the Circulation Desk on the Main Floor.
Maag, a selective government depository, maintains a collection of federal and Ohio documents on Floor 6.
Floors 3 through 6A house the book collection in a split-level design with general and oversize collections in open stacks on each floor. Consult the building guide for call number divisions on each floor. Registered borrowers may check out books in the circulating collection.
Available throughout the library are study areas and access to MaagNet, our online catalog.
World Wide Web
Maag offers free access to the World Wide Web (WWW) for on-site users. Web access is available in the Reference Room (Main Floor), the Serials Department (Lower Floor), Government Documents (6th Floor) and in the Computer Lab (4th floor)
