Phone: (330) 941-3702; (330) 941-3678 Current students, staff, faculty, Alumni Association members, and Friends of the Library may borrow items from another OhioLINK Library if the item is not available through MaagNet Online Catalog. The records of 84 college, university, and public libraries including the State Library of Ohio can be searched through the OhioLINK Central Catalog. Items may be requested directly through the catalog and set to deliver to an OhioLINK destination of your choice. Click OhioLINK to learn more about this consortium.
Once a record for the item is found in the OhioLINK Central Catalog then follow these steps to make a request: 1. Click on the “Libraries have this item” link. 2. Scroll down the list of libraries to see if the status is “AVAILABLE.” 3. If the status is “AVAILABLE” it can be requested by clicking on the “Request this Item” link. 4. Select “Youngstown State” as your school or institution. 5. Type your name in the textbox. 6. Enter your barcode number, from the back of your ID, without any spaces. 7. Select the institution where you would like this to be delivered – default is YSU. 8. Submit the request. 9. Receipt of a successful request is given along with title, library sending, and library receiving information. 10. Check Your Library Recordto know when the item has arrived. |

Within three to five days the OhioLINK library should receive the item for pickup. The status of the request can be tracked through Your Circulation Record by following these steps:
