New Maag Logon

The New Maag Logon starts on Monday, July 18, 2011.

Choose any of the following options for details:

Logging on to "My Library Record"
OhioLINK borrowing
OhioLINK authentication from off campus
Changing your password
Resetting your password (Lost your password?)

Logging on to "My Library Record" OR OhioLINK borrowing/OhioLINK authentication from off campus.

Enter the following information:

Your name. Enter your last name, first name and middle name or initial--as it may appear on your ID. (Sometimes your full middle name is used in the system, but not the ID).

YSU ID. This number is found on the front of your YSU ID. It begins with "Y" and is 8 numbers long. IDs can be obtained at the YSU Registrars Office. You can also find your YSU ID # by logging onto the YSU Portal. You will see your YSU ID # on the upper left side.

Password. The first time logging on, your password is the YSU ID # (beginning with the "Y"). After logging on, change your password. Click here for details.

Changing Your Password

After initial logon, you should change your password from the default YSU ID # to your own personalized password.

New passwords must be 8 to 30 characters long.
Must contain letters and numbers.

Resetting Your Password

If you forget your password, click on Forgot your password? link. You will be prompted for your name and YSU ID #. An email will automatically be sent to your YSU Portal email with instructions.

Logging on to OhioLINK Central Catalog to borrow material

After selecting the "Request" button in OhioLINK Central catalog, you are prompted to choose your institution. After selecting Youngstown State, you are given the following screen. Please note that OhioLINK uses the word "PIN" for the place of the "PASSWORD". You will use the same password that you use in MaagNET.
