We have something new for just about everyone. Several new and exciting database resources have been recently added.
Announcing even more JSTOR collections!! In addition to JSTOR Arts & Sciences I & II, we now offer the General Science as well as the Ecology & Botany collections. Just for a bit of background information, JSTOR began as a pilot project at the University of Michigan in 1995 to ease the increasing problems faced by libraries struggling to provide space for the long runs of scholarly journals. JSTOR converts back issues of paper journals into electronic formats which allow savings in space while also improving access to the journal content. With JSTOR, journals are never “out.” The search and retrieval process is powerful and, as a result, JSTOR has become a greatly valued research tool. Looking for American or British historical biographical information? The classic publications Oxford Dictionary of National Biography and American National Biography are now online.
Talk about testing…there’s more. We now offer an online version of Buros’ Mental Measurements Yearbook. This comprehensive guide to over 2,000 contemporary testing instruments enables users to make informed judgments and decisions about the complex world of testing. It is designed for an audience ranging from experienced professionals to novice test consumers. All of these resources are available from Maag’s homepage.
