Instructional Support

Tired of those bad bibliographies? Are your students finding good scholarly sources for their research papers? Are they information literate?  Information literacy programs are a partnership between library professionals and classroom instructors.

       

Collection Development

For information concerning the purchase of library materials, contact the Acquisitions Librarian, Jean Romeo (x3679)Collection building is a shared responsibility with faculty and librarians.  Subject librarians are also available to help with material selections or to find specific publication information.

Other services
  • Library display cases - faculty and staff, as well as student organizations are invited to use the display cases located in the lobby of the Library.  Some appropriate uses would be to promote services provided to the university community, recent achievements such as publications or presentations, or other academic related topics.  Each display is allotted one month during the academic year.  Three cases are available for use.  Contact George Heller at x3680 for more information.
  • Study carrels - Individual enclosed study carrels are available on various floors throughout the building.  Contact
