Maag Instant Messaging (IM) Service
The Maag Instant Messaging service is intended for Youngstown State University students, faculty, and staff. IM is best for brief questions, although some in-depth research can be done, if the response or explanation is not too complex. IM would not be a good format for extensive article searches. Good uses of IM would be:

If you currently do not have a mail or messaging account, you will have to create one. If you have a mail account you can configure the corresponding IM service on your own computer by downloading the IM software using the download link below. Follow set up directions and when you are ready, add the Maag IM ID in the Contacts or Buddy field. If you have a mail account with any of the three services listed below, you have the basics esablished to use their web-based instant messaging options, so you can contact us without loading software onto a lab or institution computer. Just click the appropriate service's IM Web-Based Link, log-in with your own ID, and enter the Maag IM ID in the Contacts or Buddy field.
If you are using your own computer and already have established external mail and messaging accounts, just use your personal instant messaging service and contact the appropriate Maag IM ID.
