How can I find authoritative websites?
There exists a huge difference between a world wide web (www) site and a subscription database! Anyone can post to the www;
however, someone pays for online subcriptions. Here at Maag Library we combine efforts with other OhioLINK libraries to
purchase quality subscription databases, that we access through the www, for the Youngstown State College Community.
As wonderful as the www appears, please remember that it can simply be about appearances! To know whether or not
a source represents valuable information evaluate
the content for: authority, accuracy, objectivity, and currency.
