Maag Library provides access to both print and electronic reserves while complying with Copyright Guidelines.
The main print reserve collection is available at the Circulation Desk on a first-come first-served basis. Another more specialized collection is located in the MultiMedia Center (3rd Floor) and may include sound recordings or other media. Curriculum materials placed on reserve are found in the Curriculum Resource Center (CRC) located in Beeghly Hall.
Electronic reserve materials can be accessed online from on campus or remotely:
Search the Course Reserves Materials by Course Number or Course Name
Loan Periods for Print Reserves
Most print reserves are placed on a three-hour loan for use within the library. At the discretion of the instructor, some materials may have a longer loan period: one-day, three-day, or seven-day for use outside the library.
Placing Materials on Reserve
Materials are placed on reserve by the course instructor either in print or electronic format. Faculty should submit a Course Reserves Request Form. Staff reserves the right to decline requests judged to exceed copyright guidelines. Materials borrowed through OhioLINK or Interlibrary Loan will not be placed on reserve. Materials may be purchased instead. It may take up to 72 hours for materials to appear in the Print Reserves or Electronic Reserves depending on the amount of materials faculty are submitting at the start of a semester.
